Student Life

Athletics

The School at Columbia University offers basketball, cross country, fencing, lacrosse, soccer, softball, squash, track and field, and volleyball teams for Grade 5 through 8 students. TSC teams compete with peer schools, and the school aims for a well-rounded program where students learn about being part of a team. The School also works to ensure TSC athletes receive sufficient support so they may enjoy both academic and athletic successes.

Frank Colantuono is the Athletics Director and primary contact for families with questions about teams, logistical concerns, and rules for student athletes. Coach Colantuono can be contacted at fcolantuono@theschool.columbia.edu, and the Athletics hotline is 212-851-4228.
